Come learn about Japan through language instruction, cultural exploration, art, crafts, music, cooking, and more. This camp is intended for kids ages 7-12.

 

Our experienced, caring teaching faculty and counselors are looking forward to working with you this summer! Camper parents or guardians are welcome to drop in anytime and observe the lessons!

CAMP SCHEDULE

Camp A -Half Day: June 10-14, 2019

Camp B - Full Day: July 15-19, 2019

TUITION

Half Day: $130 (UTSA Discount-$125.00, Sibling Discount-$125.00) 

Full Day: $250 (UTSA Discount-$240.00, Sibling Discount-$240.00)

UTSA faculty, staff, student discount is available. Must show valid UTSA ID to qualify for the discount at registration. Sibling discount is also available.

LOCATION

UTSA Main Campus (Main Bldg. room 1.126).

Daily schedule for half-day camp (tentative)

• 8:30-9:00 a.m.: Arrival--supervised activities

• 9:00‐11:50 a.m.: Language instruction & culture/art/craft activities (with breaks in between)

• 11:50 a.m.: Clean up and get ready to be picked up

• 12:00 p.m.: Campers go home
   

Daily schedule for full-day camp (tentative)

• 8:30-9:00 a.m.: Arrival--supervised activities

• 9:00 a.m. ‐12:00 p.m.: Language instruction & culture/art/craft activities (with breaks in between)

• 12:00-1:30 p.m.: Lunch and Japanese movie viewing with discussions

• 1:30-3:50 p.m.: More cultural and hands-on art/craft/cooking activities (with breaks in between)

• 3:50 p.m.: Clean up and get ready to be picked up

• 4:00 p.m.: Campers go home
